About Our Founder & CEO
Five days before Thanksgiving of 2023, Cassandra Harbour found herself at a crossroads. While navigating personal transitions & searching for a contract manufacturer for her pet food projects, she was laid off—again. It was a group layoff, & it marked the second time since the global pandemic shutdown that she had been let go from what was supposed to be a “safe corporate job.”
But instead of seeing this as a setback, Cassandra saw an opportunity. That very day, she made a pivotal decision: she would take her 15+ years of expertise in science, industry, quality regulation, & FDA compliance & build something of her own. From that moment, CH House of Quality was born, a consulting firm where ‘Quality is Made Simple.’
As the founder & CEO of CH House of Quality Solutions & Consulting LLC, Cassandra combines her extensive experience in Biochemistry Engineering & Quality Management with a deep understanding of business operations. Her journey from a seasoned Quality Manager to an entrepreneur in the Quality Consulting world has been shaped by years of hands-on experience in laboratory, medical device, pharmaceutical, & food manufacturing industries. Through this work, she has become an expert in every phase of quality assurance—from design concept & Research & Development to production & post-market surveillance.
A dedicated, results-driven leader, Cassandra has been called upon to lead ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 site audits, restructure corporate complaint management systems, & develop strategic plans in response to FDA Notified Body audits for manufacturing. Clients trust her for her knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & Good Documentation Practices (GDP), as well as her ability to implement electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS) that streamline compliance & efficiency.
Throughout her career, Cassandra has gained invaluable regulatory & quality assurance experience at companies such as Leica Microsystems, Precise Bioscience (human cell & tissue products), Havi Global Solutions (food packaging & corrugates), MonoSol Pharmaceuticals, & Dentsply Sirona (dental products & consumables). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Purdue University, is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), & is certified as an ISO 13485 Lead Internal Auditor by the Illinois Business Innovation Services.
